What to Expect on Sunday

Who We Are

Hope Covenant Church is a group of people from all walks of life who are being transformed by Jesus Christ. Every Sunday, we come together to worship God and learn to apply biblical truths in our everyday lives. This year we will introduce new small groups who meet during the week, where we share our lives and encourage each other to walk with Jesus. We are passionate about sharing the love of God by caring for each other and finding ways of impacting our community and world.

What To Expect

The sign outside our church says, “No perfect people allowed,” and we take that message seriously. No one is perfect. We all struggle. We all have good and bad days. At Hope, we are a church where we trust that the love of God is so powerful that there is nothing you can do that would cause Him to love you any more than He already does, and there is nothing you can do that would cause Him to love you less than He already does.

There is no need to hide, pose or pretend. You don’t have to “fix yourself” before you come to Hope. Simply come as you are! (Oh, and feel free to dress as casually or dressy as you prefer. You’ll see people in shorts and a t-shirt, slacks and a button-down, and if our pastor is ever wearing something other than jeans, there’s probably a funeral or wedding happening…).

Here’s the bottom line: we want you to be comfortable and feel welcomed, loved and accepted at Hope.

About Our Worship Service

We have services at 9am & 10:30am.

We offer children’s ministry classes during the 9am service, and youth ministry classes at 10:30am. There are often Adult Classes and Groups which meet after service.

Our services usually last between 75-90 minutes. Our music is modern, giving us an opportunity to connect with God’s heart as we sing together, and every week there is a message pointing us to the life-changing power found by following Jesus (listen to previous sermons HERE).

What About Our Children?

HopeKids, the children’s experience at Hope, is designed uniquely for ages birth through sixth grade. While in HopeKids, your child will experience love and careful attention, along with engaging age-appropriate teaching, music and activities all developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Christ. HopeKids experiences are staffed by dedicated, background-checked staff and volunteers who will be there to care for your child. HopeKids utilizes a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents.

All middle and senior high students start in the Youth Room, then head to their small group time to connect with other students and learn about faith in Christ. (We also have weekly Wednesday evening Youth Group for senior high and middle school students here at HOPE at 7pm.)
