Discipleship requires putting off the sinful patterns of our families or origin and relearning how to do life God’s way in God’s family.
Example of Joseph:

- Joseph admitted honestly the sadness and losses of his family.
- Joseph rewrote his life script according to Scripture.
- Joseph partnered with God to be a blessing.
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” (Genesis 50:20NIV)
