Four of a Kind Always Beats a Full House // Heartbeat of HOPE // Mark 2:1-12 // Pat Stark // 09.20.26

This week we continued our series on the Heartbeat of HOPE by looking at the value of a community that carries the weight of each other's burdens, gets creative, and brings us close to Jesus.

Speaker Pat Stark focused on the four friends who helped their paralyzed friend by digging a hole into the roof of the crowded building Jesus was in and lowering their friend through into the presence of Christ. Seeing their faith, Jesus both forgives the man's sins and heals him, linking spiritual and physical restoration.

Our lives can often feel crowded out by so many different variables and voices so it is crucial to both find people and be the people that will fight through doubt and difficult circumstances to bring one another to the one that doesn't just make life better, but leads to true wholeness.
