As we continue in our Holy Spirit Series, we talk about what it means to not only receive supernatural power from the Holy Spirit, but what it means to receive the courage, generosity, reconciliation, shared life and love that comes with receiving it. Moving through the beginning of Acts we see how the disciples first engaged with the Holy Spirit and the ways in which it transformed the early church into a family connected instead of divided by social barriers. This same power exists right now for each of us as followers of Jesus and we can engage and partner with the Holy Spirit to create and transform our own lives and communities.
