Courageous Communication & Continual Grace // Luke Jesus for Everyone// Luke 17:1-6 // 11.9.25 // Bri Johns

This week’s message continued our study in Luke as Jesus turned from confronting the Pharisees to shaping His disciples’ hearts. He reminded them (and us) that the greatest threat to community isn’t outside pressure, it’s the way we handle hurt inside the family of faith. Jesus taught that followers of His must learn to rebuke with love and forgive with grace. He wasn’t calling us to avoid conflict or hold grudges, but to practice courageous communication, confronting sin and harm directly, while keeping our hearts soft through continual forgiveness. When the disciples heard this, they said what many of us feel: “Lord, increase our faith!” Because forgiving endlessly and speaking truth kindly takes supernatural strength. This week, we’re reflecting on what it means to live out that same call, to build a community where truth and grace walk hand in hand.
