Rest // Invitation to Sabbath // Genesis 2:2, Matthew 11:28-30 // Doug Glynn // 05.04.25
In week two of our “Invitation to Sabbath” series, we focused on the theme of REST. Sabbath rest isn’t simply a break or a day off. It’s a holistic practice, intentionally designed by God, for our well-being, restoring us physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Doug shared how modern life leaves us chronically exhausted, making genuine love - both for God and others - increasingly difficult. Instead we are invited into a completely different way of being by Jesus, marked by unforced rhythms of grace.
