Doug walked us through the Lens of Grace, a diagram that helps us understand two ways of living: Those who see sin as their defining aspect, and those who see what Jesus has done to transform them into saints. Those who see themselves primarily as sinners often believe that if they know more and act better, they will find spiritual growth. But those who seethemselves primarily as saints can live in peace and freedom, knowing that trusting Jesus and receiving his grace is the way toward real spiritual growth.
