Though We Know Not How

November 7, 2021 Speaker: Jim Lane Series: Following Jesus Together

Verse: Mark 4:26–4:29, Psalm 13

Everyone suffers loss in a variety of ways: from losing people dear to us, to tragedies in life around us, relational, personal worries, failures or wounds, it is a part of life. These sometimes make the holidays difficult. So each year, we hold a "Novembering" service, in which we pause to celebrate and remember those we've lost, to engage our grief, and to find ways to lean into God. This week, we explored the Parable of the Seed in Mark 4, considering the ways in which life grows from the soil of our lives over time in God's Kingdom. We also looked to lament in Psalm 13 as we consider how in this Kingdom we might walk through our grief with God's help.
