Praying The Lord’s Prayer

OUR FATHER

You are a good Father who deeply loves, cares for and watches over me...

WHO ART IN HEAVEN

The One who is everywhere AND who is closer than my very breath...

HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME

May Your name be made great in my life, and in all of the world...
That this whole earth would come to treasure and honor You, starting with me...

YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

Your Kingdom over every other kingdom (in our world, in the church, in my life) Your Kingdom, not mine... Your will and Your way over my will and my way...

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

Thank You for all You have provided for me (practice gratitude) Here are my requests; the needs and wants for myself and others...

AND FORGIVE US OUR SINS

Search me and know me God;
I name the wrongs done BY me: here is my confession and repentance... I receive Your cleansing, forgiveness and freedom...

AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO HAVE SINNED AGAINST US

Before You Father, I name the wrongs done TO me, and release those who have sinned against me (or help me BEGIN to forgive)...

AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION,

“Do not let us fall into temptation.” Here are my struggles Father, give me what I need to choose Jesus and to choose real life

BUT DELIVER US FROM THE EVIL ONE.

Father, protect me from evil.
Help me discern how to respond and how to stand against the enemy
{This can be a cue for engaging in spiritual warfare, i.e. put on the armor of God (Eph 6:11-17), resist the enemy (James 4:7), 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, 1 Peter 5:8-9}

FOR YOURS IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY, FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN.

I celebrate Your Kingdom breaking through and bringing wholeness to everyone, everywhere! I rejoice in Your power, I need it! Unleash it in my life!
I pray You would manifest Your presence! I want to see Your glory!
