The Enemy & Counterfeits (Hungry & Thirsty)

August 30, 2020 Speaker: Doug Glynn Series: The Upside Down Message of Jesus

Topic: Personal Growth and Recovery, Beatitudes Verse: Matthew 5, Matthew 4, 1 Peter 5:8

You have an enemy. And I do not mean ‘the people you disagree with.’ There is an enemy in The Story who loves to steal, kill and destroy. He wants to see your heart bound by sin, addiction, bitterness, hatred… As God’s children we have nothing to fear, yet we need to be aware of the reality in which we live. This Sunday's teaching was about some of the ways the enemy tries to lie and twist the hunger and thirst of our souls against us. Remember: Jesus offers life! Let’s follow the truth He offers.
