Beware of the Church

I. The Ordinary were transformed to the Extraordinary

“When hey saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” - Acts 4:13

“God did extraordinary miracles through Paul.” - Acts 19:11

II. They were transformed from Consumers to Contributers

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.” - Acts 2:42-45


III. They were transformed from the Living to the Dead

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” - Galatians 2:20
