My Ebenezer

“Remember To Grow”

Pastor Duane Cross | 01.19.14

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO GROW?

God’s Word

“For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.”
Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)

Relationships.

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” Proverbs 27:17 (NLT)

Obedient Living.

“O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 7:8 NLT)

Worship

“Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence.” 1 Chronicles 16:29 (NLT)

HUNGERING FOR HIS PRESENCE

“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” 1 Peter 2:2-3 (NIV)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6

“They pant after the dust of the earth.” Amos 2:7(KJV)

“The days are coming, declares the sovereign Lord, when I will send a famine through the land - not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord” Amos 8:11 (NIV)

“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of living water.” John 4:13-14

“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.”  Matthew 5:6 (The Message)

“I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection.” Philippians 3:10

“Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence.”
1 Chronicles 16:29 (NLT)
