“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:12-17(NIV)

I. I AM ACCEPTABLE.

“Therefore as God’s chosen people....” (Colossians 3:12)

“Christ has accepted you.” (Romans 15:7)

“You have been chosen by God himself” I Peter 2:9(LB)

II. I AM VALUABLE.

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly beloved...”
(Colossians 3:12)

“You belong to God.” (1 John 4:4)

“You have been bought and paid for by Christ, so you belong to Him.”
I Corinthians 7:23(LB)

“You are precious to me.” (Isaiah 43:4)

III. I AM LOVEABLE.

“’The mountains and hills may crumble but my love for you will never end,’ so says the Lord who loves you.” Isaiah 54:10(GN)

1. God’s love is consistent.

2. God’s love is unconditional.

IV. I AM FORGIVABLE.

“Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13)

"I am the God who forgives your sins for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” (Isaiah 43:25)

“Through what Christ would do for us, God decided to make us holy in his eyes, without a single fault we stand before him covered with his love.”
