Matthew's Crossing

Uniting our community in the fight against hunger by providing food and basic necessities to our neighbors in need. COMPASSION • DIGNITY • HOPE

Matthew's Crossing is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

How can you get involved?

Go directly to Matthew’s Crossing website: www.matthewscrossing.org where you will find information on volunteering (there are many ways in which one can help out from sorting food, to picking up and delivering food, to feeding children their evening meals at the Food Bank, computer work, helping with their annual Gala in April, and more!) Volunteers welcome from age 12 and up! (Guardian required with children from 12-18 years of age) Great way to have family time!

Also on the website is listed the items in need. There are nonfood items as well as food items that are in continuous demand. Special note here.... cereal, peanut butter, and canned fish or meat is ALWAYS needed and often times in slim supply.

How can you get involved at HOPE?

This April, Hope will be collecting non-perishable food items. You can drop these items off in the lobby in the Matthew's Crossing boxes.

-ALSO-

Volunteers are needed to bring food donations to Matthew’s Crossing each week (this is on a rotating basis) as we continually collect food items even outside of our specified drive times.

Help organize Food Drives, handing out flyers as needed on Sunday mornings, help to come up with genius ideas on raising funds, awareness and food. And simply just bringing in food to Hope and placing it in the bin in the front entry way where it will be gathered and then transported to the Food Bank.

Thank you for your interest in this Ministry!
