Each month we have a HOPE on MISSION focus, and for the month of November, the HOPE family is partnering with San Marcos Elementary. 

This time of year always reminds us that while many are celebrating, there are also families in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. For some, the cost of gifts can be overwhelming. San Marcos Elementary—the Title 1 school we partner with—has many families who experience that kind of need.

This season, we’re sponsoring an Affordable Christmas Shop for parents of kids ages Pre-K to 6th grade! The administration and teachers at San Marcos are selecting 25–30 families with the greatest need.

Here’s how it works: you take a tag from the tree in the lobby, purchase that gift, and bring it back here unwrapped.

On Saturday, December 6, parents will come to HOPE, where we’ll make those gifts available at a drastically reduced price—about 80–90% off—so they can shop for their children’s gifts with dignity.
